Melinda Moskal, Program Coordinator
Melinda Moskal holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. Prior to working with Randy James Dance Works, she worked as a Rehearsal Assistant with Princeton Ballet School and as Head Choreographer for several local high school productions. Melinda has also taught various dance disciplines for several private studios. She joined the RJDW staff in May of 2006.

Missy Pfohl Smith, Development Consultant
Missy Pfohl Smith joined Randy James Dance Works as a founding company member in 1993. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she received her Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and her Bachelor of Science in dance from the State University of New York, College at Brockport. Missy's own work has been presented throughout New York and in New Hampshire, where she received a choreographic commission from Dianne Eno Fusion Danceworks for a site-specific work on the summit of Mount Monadnock. Since moving to New York City, she has also performed with Paul Mosley, Philippa Kaye, Ellen Robbins, Dura Mater, and has apprenticed with Erick Hawkins Dance Company. Missy has performed and taught at universities and dance festivals in Poland, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, and Japan, as well as across the United States. She also teaches children and professional development arts-in-education workshops for school teachers. Missy had served as Randy James Dance Works's director of development since 1997 and is the principal grant writer for Susan Marshall and Company.

Elizabeth Spatz, Associate Director
Elizabeth Spatz joined Randy James Dance Works as a founding company member in 1993, after working with James in dance projects prior to the formation of the company. She received her early dance training at the Chicago City Ballet under Maria Tallchief and the Ruth Page Foundation under Larry Long. She has appeared with various companies including the Chicago City Ballet, the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Dayton Ballet. Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts in dance and arts management from Columbia College Chicago, and holds a certification in fitness instruction from New York University. Since moving to New York City, she has worked with various independent choreographers including JoAnna Mendl Shaw, Kriota Willberg and Sabrina Peck. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the dance department at Queensborough Community College and has taught at various dance schools, colleges, universities and festivals in the United States and abroad, including Tage des Tanzas,Germany; Longwood College, Virginia; Tri-Distric Arts Consortium, South Carolina; Midsummer Macon Dance Festival, Georgia; Greenville Fine Arts Center, South Carolina among others. Elizabeth was a soloist and company member of Randy James Dance Works and had served as its rehearsal director from May 1997 through June 2001. She is currently completing her master's degree in dance at the University of Washington.
