Katie Aggen, Dancer    
  Katie Aggen is originally from Camarillo, California. She attended UC Santa Cruz receiving her BA in Community Studies with College Honors. She then lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco, dancing with companies such as Carol Solomon Dance, Company Chaddick and Strong Current. After receiving her Pilates certification in 2004, Katie moved to New York. Since then she has worked with Jana Hicks, MariaColacoDance and Dixon Mena, among others. Katie currently dances with Chris Ferris and Dancers and joined RJDW in January 2006.  
       
       
 

Sarah Bumgarner, Dancer

 
  Sarah Bumgarner began performing at the age of 3 (her own interpretation of Cats any time friends or family would watch) and ballet training at the age of eight. During high school Sarah joined The Historical Barter Theater Company where she performed in Cabaret, Guys n' Dolls and Twelfth Night. Sarah recently moved to NYC after graduating from North Carolina School of the Arts where she had the honor of dancing works by choreographers including Warren Conover, Brenda Daniels, Kraig Patterson, Mury Louis, Diane Markham, David Parsons, Alberto Del Saz and Sean Sullivan. Sarah has also performed works by David Dorfman and Norman Walker. Sarah is very excited to be a part of Randy James Dance works. Thanks to my family for the mountains of support! Sarah joined Randy James Dance Works in September 2006.  
       
       
 

Nicole Dalia, Dancer

 
  Nicole Dalia was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She studied dance at The Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School. Wanting to further her ballet and modern dance training she then attended The Boston Conservatory, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Directly after graduating she joined as an apprentice with Verb Ballets: Cleveland's National Repertory Dance Company. While there she performed various dance works by Anthony Tudor, Paul Taylor, David Parsons, and Hernando Cortez. In August 2004 Nicole joined Elisa Monte Dance. During her one season she toured internationally to Germany, France, Italy, and England. In April 2005 she began teaching pre-ballet at Ballet Academy East in Manhattan, NY. She currently dances with Ballet for Young Audiences and Repertory Ballet Company. Nicole joined Randy James Dance Works in September 2006.    
       
       
 

Elizabeth Douglas, Dancer

 
  Elizabeth Douglas received her BA in Dance from the University of Buffalo and her Masters in Dance and Dance Education from New York University. Currently she performs with Noelle MacDuffie, Xodus Dance Collective, RETTOCAME, Intercataction (a children’s dance theater company), and continues to choreograph. Elizabeth, also a dance educator, teaches movement to children and adults at several locations throughout New York City including the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center and Arts Gate Center (affiliated with H.T. Chen and Dancers). She thanks Randy and the dancers for the enjoyable process.    
       
       
  Matthew Henley, Dancer    
  Matthew Henley graduated in May of 2001 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance and a bachelor of arts degree in religious studies from the University of Arizona in Tucson where he studied with Dr. John M. Wilson. While in Tucson he performed with Orts Theater of Dance, Funhouse Movement Theater, and The Beth Braun Dance Partnership. Matthew joined Randy James Dance Works in October 2001.  
       
       
 

John Hinrichs, Dancer

 
  John Hinrichs was raised in Rochester, Illinois and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also studied dance under Sara Hook, Linda Lehovec, Renèe Wadleigh, Erika Randall, and John Dayger. John is currently on scholarship at the Merce Cunningham Studio. He joined Randy James Dance Works in September 2006.  
       
       
  Lori Beth Katz, Dancer    
  Lori Beth Katz has a bachelor of fine arts degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. While attending Rutgers, she worked with various choreographers, including Jeanine Durning, David Parsons, Randy James, and Tigger Benford. She has also attended the School at Jacob's Pillow and Bates Dance Festival. Lori teaches at various private studios and has taught for New Brunswick public school's Dance Power program. Lori joined Randy James Dance Works in September 2003.  
       
       
 

Danielle Kwozko, Dancer

 
  Danielle Kwozko, a native of New York, began dancing at an early age. Eager to understand more about the challenges of her craft, she decided to continue studying dance in college. While attending The Ohio State University she was able to probe into other areas that peaked her interest: dance history, criticism and particularly dance notation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a B.F.A in Dance Performance and distinction for her restaging of Doris Humphrey's "Two Ecstatic Themes". Danielle then spent a year in St. Louis dancing for the Mid America Dance Co. where she was further exposed to the technique of Erick Hawkins and had the opportunity to work with great choreographers such as Alcine Wiltz, Mikey Thomas and Katherine Duke. Danielle is now glad to be back home and enjoys teaching at Garden City Dance Studio on Long Island as well as performing with Fresh Blood Productions and Leanne Schmidt & Co.  
       
       
  Kristen Lamb, Dancer    
  Kristen Lamb was born and raised in Hicksville, New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University in 2004, receiving her bachelor of fine arts degree in dance. While there Kristen had the pleasure of working with Randy James, as well as other choreographers John Evans, Julia Ritter, and David Parsons, and was honored to receive the Turner Choreography Prize. Her choreography was presented as part of the repertory for Mason Gross School of the Arts "University Dance Works". Kristen has worked with Julia Ritter Performance Group and joined Randy James Dance Works in November 2004.  
       
       
  Seth Miner, Dancer    
  Seth Miner is a country boy from Idaho, who grew up raising horses…not potatoes!  His road to dance was winding, taking him to the University of Idaho and Boise State University before finally leading him to North Carolina School of the Arts.  Seth began dancing in Idaho, and was an apprentice with Idaho Dance Theatre before moving to North Carolina to complete his BFA in Modern Dance.  Other passions of his include animals, singing, and soccer.  Seth began work with the company in September of 2006, and would like to thank Randy James for offering him this amazing opportunity.  Also, a big thank you to his family for all the support along the way!  
       
       
  Brandon Whited, Dancer    
  Brandon Whited began training at age ten upon moving to North Carolina; studying a wide variety of styles, from Ballet, Modern and Jazz to Hip-Hop, Tap, and Ballroom. He received both his High school Diploma and B.F.A. in contemporary dance from the NC School of the Arts. Here Brandon had the privilege of working with a top-notch faculty as well as dancing works by Murray Louis, Mark Morris, Balanchine, Doug Varone, David Parsons, Alex Ketly, Kevin Wynn, and Teri and Oliver Steele. Since Moving to NY, Brandon has danced projects with the Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company and joined RJDW as a full company member in September 2006. Brandon would like to thank his family for unconditional love and support in his art and in life!
